Bullets Announce New Manager

Terry Greer, chairman of Alsager Town FC is very pleased to be able to announce that he has been able to attract the person of his choice to take on the managers post following the un-expected resignation of John Brown at the end of the 2011-12 season due to health problems.
Coming to the club is former Kidsgrove Athletic coach, Andy Turner. Andy has a wealth of experience as a coach at both Kidsgrove and Chasetown.
He was a former Tottenham Hotspur midfield player who was at one time the youngest player to score in the Premiership when at the age of 17 years 166 days he scored against Everton. He then had spells with Portsmouth and Rotherham as well as numerous loan and non league clubs.
Andy also represented the Republic of Ireland 9 times at under 21 level.
